Ayya Human Hair Care Instructions

 

Please note Human hair braids require a different technical skill for braiding than braiding regular synthetic or silky braids,
Please ensure your Braider has undergone this training to ensure your hair is braided perfectly,

After braiding there is NO need for mousse or Hot water
Our Yaki extensions also do not need to be put in hot water, they are already pre treated.
Your Braider should spray your hair down with a mix of Water and leave in conditioner and let the hair air dry. No heat needs to be applied to the hair

 

Maintaining your Ayya Human Hair

To maintain your human hair,
You need a spray bottle, water and good leave in conditioner (any one would do)
Make a mixture of water and leave in conditioner in your spray bottle and shake until it combines, Spray your hair liberally while finger combing to separate your braids and let it air dry,
Please do not attempt to detangle your hair when it’s dry. Only detangle when its wet, and detangle with water and conditioner.

Please do not loosen your hair yourself as the hair cuticles need to always face the same direction to avoid tangling and irreparable damage to the hair bundle. An experienced Braider knows just how to loosen it to ensure it doesn’t loose this arrangement ,

Your human hair lasts years, so please ensure it’s always well taken care of.

 

How to Braid Ayya Curl

Please use a professional braider who has experience with silky braiding hair to install your Ayya Hair.
If you need recommendations please contact us.
Bundles do not need to be brushed out or stretched, they come ready to braid
Please blow-dry or stretch your own hair before braiding for the best results
For the first install, please braid and tie the tips as Ayya hair is very silky and it will loosen otherwise
Make sure the leave out after the knot is not more than 10-12cm if you plan to reuse it.
After braiding, please ensure your braider applies hair mousse and Ayya Braid cream immediately
Ayya Hair already comes pre curled (curly extensions). There is no need to apply hot water to your braiding hair
Do not apply any heat to your Ayya Hair

 

How to Braid Ayya Deep Wave

Please use a professional braider who has experience with silky braiding hair to install your Ayya Hair.

Please blow-dry and straighten your own hair before braiding for the best results
For the first install, please braid and leave out no more than 3-7cm
After braiding, please ensure your braider applies hair mousse and Ayya Braid cream immediately

After Braiding

Please ensure you apply  Ayya Braid cream daily to your Ayya hair, focusing on the tips of your hair,
this keeps your Ayya hair soft and silky
You only need a pea size amount per section of your hair.
Ayya Braid cream is very potent. Please do not use more than a pea size amount per section of your hair
Hair Mousse can be applied every 5-7 days to maintain your curls
Ayya Hair can be reused, but this is determined by the care taken for the hair while its installed.
To ensure your hair can be reused please apply your Ayya Braid cream to your Ayya hair daily.

 

How to Reuse Ayya Hair
Please ensure a professional braider takes out your braids , washes it and lets it air dry.
After it is air-dried your Ayya Hair is ready for reuse immediately.
Ayya Curl can be reused 1- 2 times.
Ayya Bone straight can be reused 1-4 times
